Joe and Francis are ready to become parents. Their home is already filling with the tiny rituals of anticipation—ultrasound photos on the fridge, debates over baby names, dreams of the life just ahead. Then, in an instant, that future disappears. In the aftermath of a devastating miscarriage, grief pulls them in opposite directions: Francis fights to hold onto hope while Joe retreats into silence. As the distance between them grows, they must find a way to mourn the life they lost without losing each other.
